Default Keep or sell?

I have an 07 4.6 v8 f150 xlt crew cab with about 119,000. I put in a cai, exhaust, headlights, tail lights, and a leveling kit. Idk if I should keep putting money into it and keep the truck until it dies or if I should just sell it and buy a newer ford. Suggestions please

I think I'm going to keep her. I just realized that I don't think I could let her go lol. Hopefully she can give me atleast another 100,000 miles or more

Im keeping mine till my wife's car is paid off I have a 06 xlt supercrew and it has 281k miles and I'll drive it just about anywhere no major repairs untill last week Trans finally taped out but it was only 1500 bucks and new truck payments are 500 bucks a month so you can do that math.

Depends. Is your truck paid for? Because if it is then maintaining it will cost less than making monthly payments on something you don't own. Overall it looks to be a fantastic truck. What newer Ford are you considering? The newer F-150 models, with the exception of the 6.2, make more power and are more fuel efficient than any of our 04-08 models. And they have significant improvements in powertrain and drivetrain engineering. However, they are more complicated with direct injection and other mechanical parts so their repair costs will more than likely be more than what we would pay.

Personally I like the look of our generation more than the 09+ models, but I really like the thought of a 6-speed tranny and the Ecoboost motor. But your truck looks fantastic and I think it would be a shame to let her go. I like to hang onto my vehicles until they are driven into the ground.

281,000 miles? That is a lot! Wow! Is it all original? Any major issues over the years?

I say it's a good plan to keep it, keep up regular maintenance. It looks great.
