Haha, just like this past weekend when I installed my reverse lights...it decided to rain halfway through...can't drive with wires hanging off the truck so had to finish. I had my full foul weather gear on by the end of it.

It probably should be a professional sport... Extreme weather installing... people holding fire hoses, and using giant fans... i'd be a champ in that league..

i wouldnt worry about going with a 4 gauge wire on that amp unless you plan on upgrading later. you would have to upgrade that speaker too if you got a far bigger amp.

Is it a auto or man. If auto then run into the fire wall there will be a rubber groument where the other pedal would go. under the hood feed the wire into the black plastic housing that run across the motor.
