Techrep thanks. Once it starts to warm up it'll be time to change them. There's just something very unappealing about sitting in a snow bank at -40 tackling this job lol

I've left mine in 4x4 all winter so I don't destroy my hubs lol. I can hear them disengage but then hit a bump and they partially engage, so I've just left em locked in all winter. It's been too cold to change em and I'm too cheap to pay to have em done when I know I can do it myself lol

You disconnected the vacuum line? Hopefully you're not running with 4wd engaged all the time...

Nope got a switch that I use on my dash. And yup 4x4 all the time. Streets are icy and snow covered most of the winter up here in the great white north. So it's cheaper on gas when I'm not spinning my tires all the time tryin to get going at ice covered intersections.

I guess as long as you're on slick surfaces being in 4wd won't hurt anything.

Snow and ice are for the penguins. I'll take tornadoes and hurricanes any day.

See I'd rather pull on a helmet n jump on my sled for a leisurely ride at 60 mph all day then 5 minutes of a hurricane or tornado lol.

...different strokes! Let the wind blow. Just don't let it snow.
