Question! I have 08 f150 4.6. I currently have the K&N intake setup on it. I want to return back to stock. My buddy (in a different state) has 08 5.4. He wants to trade. Will his factory setup work on my 4.6?????

 

Well from pics I've seen, the intake setup doesn't look the same. But I'm surprised that ur fellow 08 members haven't chimed in.

 

it mite fit but the end of the intake that links to the throttle body mite b diff. and the o2 sensor in prob differnt. i tryed to put a 06 4.6 k&n intake on my 05 4.6 and the o2 sensor mount was diff so i couldnt use it on my truck.

 

O2 sensor mount I'm talking about just the air filter setup. Box and hose and sh*t. Not actual intake.

I have had both, a 04 5.4 and now an 07 4.6. I had a K&N on my 5.4, and from what i had to do to put it on I will say no, not without some serious modification if it will fit at all. Just do the Gotts mod and call it good, I did that on my 4.6 and couldn't be happier.

 

I hate my k&n whistles and drones too much. I want stock.

Ya it's pretty annoying it was on there when I bought the truck. Dodge at work does same thing
