Default I hate thieves

!...that's about all i can say...second time my trucks been broken into in the last 2 months.. this time i lost my sub and amp. On the brighter side, I'm still alive, so i guess i can't complain too much...Does anyone know how hard it is to replace a punched door lock, or how much it usually costs to have fixed. I'm trying to figure out what it'd be to replace it before the adjuster comes to give me a quote. Also, is there a better way to keep these trucks from getting broken into? I rarely turn my music up, especially where im parking, and my windows are tinted. Needless to say, it's not helping.
Thanks

Getting robbed sucks. Happened to me march 17,2008. Got stuck in the mud. Left the truck overnight. Came back the next morning and everything was gone. Stereo, toolbox, tools,Ipod. Everything. TO top it off,They set fire to it. Total loss. Be thankful you don't have to start all over like I did. Insurance paid it off and that was it. Had to come up with another down payment, and new insurance since I gotr dropped.

Thats funny ATOM. I am glad now. I have always been a ford guy, since birth I guess. Genetics. But,I strayed twice lately. First a silverado. It was a true lemon. Electronic issues at 20k. TRaded it on that dodge. Only because I got it for $200 over dealer cost, brother in law deal. It was horrible. Bad gas mileage. Towimg my boat it got 10mpg if I was lucky. Now I have my F150. Love it. So,it wasa blessing in disguise.

Alarm system.

Or a starving pit bull left in the cab when parked. Fortunately, no one will starve a dog, so the alarm is your best bet.

Agreed, thieves suck! I've been hit a few times years ago. You know, the funny thing is? I ended up knowing who it was both times! You may be surprised at just who knows you have an amp!
