Cant speak from personal experience but I have an Edge and love it as do many others on this forum. I know thats not what you are asking, but my "personal" opinion is to try it and see if you like it. BTW, how is he tuning your truck with his programmer? Only one truck can have a tune from a device. You can not tune multiple vehicles with them.

Had Hypertech programmed in my GMC D-max and now for the last 4 years have Hypertech programmed in my F 150.
I like it. Gives pep to the truck.

I know that you can't tune multiple trucks with one programmer because they lock up after one truck. But I asked him and he said he had already done his and another one of his friends.

NO.

It's a canned, dead-end device with marginal generic tuning, crappy & limited features, and poor support. Really a bottom-of-the-barrel product.

Save yerself a headache and a lot of buyer remorse. - just go here for a custom SCT X4: www.morepowertuning.com

I personally own a 2010 model power programmer 111 and I've had it since that year with no problems. You can only program one vehicle with it but it's worth using but if he's going to give it to you or what ever then It needs to stay with you for future "maintenance" reasons . I had it updated in 2012 and still works fine with my setup (06 with 35" Toyo mts and a 6" rcx).

Edge 15051 - only if it's custom-tuned by PHP. CS/CTS - forget it.

Bullydog makes a good door stop on gas engines - otherwise useless with canned calibrations. No one who's actually serious aboot performance on a gas F150 uses one.

For the money - for the features and access to stellar custom tuning - and the largest support infrastructure & dealer network, no one can touch SCT.

Thankee fer playin', lol.
