Default ep27 flasher question

I have led taillights with built-in load resistors.my question is I just bought some switchback leds and really don't want to wire in the load resistors they came with. Will changing out the flasher have negative impact on the taillights since they already have resistors in them?

I run the EP27 flasher in my truck but I still have my standard incandescent bulbs in place because I haven't ordered my LED conversions yet. You'll be fine.

I just got mine haven't put it in yet but it's located right under the steering wheel in the middle of that panel if you turn your signals on and put your hand under there you can feel it

I would just buy one from your local autoparts store. The relay is located under the steering column. It's a small black box with a blue base. Remove the kick panel below the steering wheel. Turn the hazards on and listen for the clicking .
