Default how to delete DTRL system

The topic title pretty much asks my question. I recently installed a ddm tuning hid kit in my truck and now wish to disable my dtrl system (i am in canada so i have it and do not want to run the bulbs all the time). I have done it before on my volkswagens and my audi. In my audi i just had to pull a relay and jump it, and my corrado i just had to snip a wire. I checked the fuse box and it looked like there was lots of other things that run off the same fuse as the dtrl's so i didn't want to pull the fuse. I know most of you guys want to install DTRL but i wish to prolong the life of my HID's

Cheers

Kyle

put your e-brake down just enough to engage the switch but not enough to engage the brake.... And now your daytime running lights will be off.

And if you get a VI, you can just release the brake and you will be legal again

I am pretty sure there is a relay under the hood for the DRL. The manual tells you which one.

that would work but i would like to not have the parking brake light on in my dash. Where is the dtrl module located? can you just unplug it?

I pulled the fuse over a year ago and it doesnt affect anything else. The fuse in the fuse box under the hood is the one you want to pull.
