Default Hot and cold AC?

Hi everyone! With it just now starting to get hot, we have a new baby and my truck ac never seems to want to work itself out. Lately it's been blowing hot air when I have it on max. I went and bought a recharge (AC Pro) for it. Wouldn't you know as soon as I start it and get the ac going it's blowing cold now. Anyone know what this would be from?

I just plugged up the hose on the AC Pro and this is what it read. It says not to add any of its in the green. Any suggestions?

**only my experience**
I usually fill it to the top of the green, maybe a little more. All A/C systems leak over time and need topping up. Hopefully all it needed was a little bump in freon. Other causes could be that you're not using the recirculation or not have it on the A/C "on" position. I know this sounds dumb, but I have seen this solve many suspected issues. One more thing to look into is the blend door actuator that may be getting stuck. But going by what you are explaining, it looks to just be a little low on freon.

it wouldn't hurt to put more freon in it but you certainly have enough in there to where it won't be hot air blowing out

Look at the under the hood label, these trucks take very little R134a. You cannot go by that device.

I always fill it to the middle of the green range, which would be about 35psi.

I sprayed a little bit in there, to make the gauge hit the mile of the green and it has seemed to fix it! Thanks for all the help!
