Haha, yea it took me a few times too. Not sure where you got yours, but I got mine from Jon_to on the vendor section on here. I couldnt be happier with mine and they were $105 shipped.

unfortunately, I just traded in the s331 otherwise I would have sold them to you. I retro amp connectors and ignitor to Matsuzaka ballasts (nissan), they heated up in about 2 secs and NO FLICKER! Ran flawlessly with AM bulbs too! The ballast is the main component.

Damn that's quick mine takes a bit to heat up and when I throw my highs on its jus regular bulb. I'll jus sell mine for 30$ and get some new ones when I have the cash

i dont really get why you guys do this thing to turn off the lights when you unlock the truck. sure the lights get a quick surge of power but even when you disable them when you go to turn on your headlights once your driving they still get the same surge of power. they have to warm up either way...

Its called hot-restrike. Once the bulbs are already hot, turning them off to start the truck and then re-igniting the bulbs can damage them. This is especially true for the cheaper quality stuff you get from DDM and the vendors here.
