HIDs
I have an 05 FX4 and im looking to get some HIDs soon. I think the bulb size is H13 but not sure. Where is the best place to buy a kit and what should i know before i buy? I like the 12 or 15000k.

Had my 12000k in my truck for about a year now. Never been a pulled over for my hids and never even flashed for that matter.
I got pulled over once and he did mention my lights but he was reffering to fobs because they are 3000k yellow and very very very bright.

I got mine from that guy and they have been great. Ive been running them for about 4 months now. I ordered 5k’s because I wanted them for good night visibility. 4300’s are what come stock in Mercedes, Lexus, ect and I think that’s the whitest light you can get, but 5K is close to that. H13 is the bulb size if I remember correctly (someone correct me if im wrong here). I agree about not going over 8K, but its your truck so do what you think is best. The search button is a great feature, but sometimes there is info overload.
I have had a set of 6000k hid's on my truck for the Past 6 years. The higher the number on the kelvin scale, the less light (in lumens) it will produce. If you want a better, brighter light to see with stay under 8000k, if you just want a unique color of light, then get a higher number. Hope this helps your choice.
