Default hid question

is everyone just running low beam or do they have the bi xenon low hid and high halogen? i need highs where i live or i cant get my truck inspected

Yes, but to help the original posters question, are those gorecon xenon lights low and high beam? He needs high beam function to pass an inspection.

I've seen kits to do xenon to do both low and high beam on Ebay, so I'll venture that what you'd like to know is who makes a good kit?

You may want to try the search on this forum, as this is also one of the many top subjects of this site. You'll see lots of posts on it.

There also like 35$ but to get them shipped to Canada came to like 77$ so I asked a friend to get some with me so we could split the shipping so only paid 60$ for them

Im running dual beam on mine 10k. Got them from Jon_to on the fourm. I got the duals cause here in mass u need highs to pass inspection and there great to flash ppl who think you have ur high beams on

Get some from Jon To he sells some pretty decent quality ones. He also sells dual beam xenon with a relay harness which will prevent flickering that usually occurs with these trucks and HIDs. Oh wait just noticed this thread may get shut down. Repost this in the HID's thread.

well had to buy something cause the truck needs to get inspected in the next few days a guy i work with has a mechanic shop and he buys HIDs and puts them in peoples cars and he showed me a guy on ebay that he buys his from and he likes theirs pretty well and the price was really nice 45 shipped for HID lows and halogen Highs but if they are any like what i had on my 03 ranger i never used the highs and does anyone have any pics of 8000s on their trucks that is what i got

8000 are too blue IMHO, you'd be happier with 5000 in 35w or 6000 in 55W . My first set were 8k and the blue got annoying real quick

i thought 8000s were really blue until he showed me his car and they are 8000s and they just have a faint blue tint maybe they arent that blue cause they are cheap HIDs i am hopeing
