Default hey wait a minute...

my original sales brochure for my 2008 is kept in the seatback pocket for the viewing pleasure of my passengers. I flipped through it today and noticed in one of the pictures of the lariat interior it shows the frontseat seatbelt retractors are mounted ON the front seats beside the headrests. But the retractors in my truck are mounted on the pillars. I guess my truck is an extreme one of a kind limited edition research vehicle or someting like dat.

All 04-08s that I've seen have had the seatbelt integrated into the seat. Now, I've never actually been in an 04-08 Screw, so maybe it's a Screw feature (the Reg cabs & Scabs don't have a pillar right next to the front seats, due to the rear doors), but this seems odd. Mind posting a pic? I'm curious to see this.

Yup, reg cab and scab's don't have a "B" pillar to mount them to, so they are mounted in the seat.

Perhaps that sales brochure should have been left in the front seat for your veiwing pleasure?

I've seen some strange creations over the years....some have explained that whatever was on the assembly line that day would get installed on the vehicle to prevent a stopage of the assembly line. Not in this case though.

One reason I did NOT want a SCAB, I wanted the "B" pillar just in case.

trucks that dont have a flow through console and a super cab you will have the seat belt anchor on the seat.
