Ummm... Are you sure your motor is a 5.4 3v and not a 4.6???? Your TB picture is telling me its a 4.6... I could be wrong if your CAI came with an elbow to fit to your intake...

Isn't that the VCT solenoid bump in the pass side valve cover in the lower left of the picture?

It looks like it.. But the 4.6 3v did not come out till 2009 or 2010 with the new body style... I think..... I'm starting to get confused.... Could this be a transplant motor?

100% sure that my motor is a 5.4L V8 3v

Well, Thunder is goin to the dealership. I tried everything possible and even the original ignition coils didn't help me out, so I think it's the throttle body.

Well, I figured since it was already there they can do my tranny flush as well. I know it needs to be done too.

Something about your engine bay picture was bugging me, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it till now. Where is your MAF sensor?

I see it in the pic, but its not plugged in.... :U

It's actually on the intake tube close to the filter. From the angle, you can't really see it.
