Help with tapping into fuse box
You mean an accessory fuse or something? I've often wondered if our trucks had something like this but I haven't found one if it exists.. in order to power a switch in my cab, I used an add-a-fuse kit. Just a <10$ thing I got from autozone. It allows you to add in a hot lead and it has slots for two fuses. One for the lead and one the original fuse.. hope this helps
It plugs into the fuse slot. Basically it splits the slot out to two fuses. You keep the original fuse, and it puts out a second line for whatever you want to add. Just make sure it's only operating when you want it to. So for you, you would find the fuse for interior lights, and 'add-a-fuse' to it, and now you have a hot line out of the fuse box for what you want to add, and it will only power with the interior lights.
Autozone had them (My Advance Auto Plus or whatever didn't have any)

Sorry, I'm having trouble what you mean on how to connect it. Do i put a "add-a-fuse" in and it will have the wires connected to it that I connect to the lights? Or am I adding the fuse then running a wire from the back of the fuse box where the other wires are?

I just went and bought a pack called "add a circuit" and it connects to a fuse spot and has then has a place where two fuses go and a wire that I can connect too. I'm pretty sure it is what you are talking about.
