Default Help with shock replacements

Is there any good quality shocks out there that will directly bolt in place of my exsisting shocks? My truck is a 05 FX4 S-crew. Im looking for a better off road ride and im not interested in a lift as my front 2" leveling kit and 33's are just fine. Can you recommend any kit?

Thanks!

+1 on the Bilstein 5100's, I just installed them a few weeks ago and am impressed so far with the ride. I set it at the highest setting because I wanted to level it but you can set it at stock or even 1 inch if you want to just change the rake slightly.

So Bilstein 5100's and I can use the AS 2" spacer thats there now? And raise it 1"? So Im assuming you kept the factory spring. Do you know where I could find a new one?

I found these at www.shox.com

Searched for 2005 F150 4x4 Bilstein 5100's

Copied:
The front shocks are for leveling / raising the front 0,1, or 2.5 inches. The rears are stock height to 1 inch raised. Free shipping.BE5-C298-H2, BE5-C299-H0

$449.00

Is that the right kit?

And after visiting the bilstein webpage and reading the PDF on those shocks, it looks like the spacers I have on now will not be used. Ill just sell those cheap.

You wouldn't "need" the spacers with the 5100's...but you could use them if you really wanted to. You'd just set them at stock ride height and put the spacer back on. Me personally I wanted to level it and get a nice set of shocks so the Bilsteins had that in one package. I want to do an AAL in the spring so I'm going to do my rears then.
