Default Help with electrical issue.

Hello all. I installed an aftermarket power window conversion kit on my 2008 F150 single cab XL. Works great. Not factory great but I now have power windows. Problem is now my cluster does not work. Nor the a/c. Radio, lights, and blower work. Probably blew a fuse. Does anyone know which one it is? Thanks.

Google around, there's definitely a fuse diagram.

If you didn't disconnect your battery before doing that electrical work, chances are you definitely blew a fuse.

Default Fuses

Update. I've checked all the fuses that, according to the owner's manual, pertain to the cluster and a/c with no luck. Truck runs perfectly except for those two issues. Has anyone had issues like these? Could the kit be drawing too much causing the above issues? HELP.

Might be helpful if you go into more detail on the install. More specifically, where did you aquire power?

I spliced into the cigarette lighter for power. I asked in an earlier post and someone suggested it. Ground went to the metal frame where the radio mounts. Those are the only 2 connections necessary.

Do you have a link to the kit you used?

Did these problems occur immediately upon completion, or did it work for a time, and then start having issues?

Truck was working flawlessly. These issues began after I installed the kit.

They began immediately after you installed the kit or did it work for a little while after the kit was installed is what I think quinner was getting at.

Default Update.

I disconnected the power wire to the kit hoping that was the problem. Issues remain.
