I just had one of those (that brand anyway) installed on my wife's Mazda6i and I took it off within 35 miles. It had a decent quality feel to it and the fitment was great. It made the car progressively run worse and worse. I initially thought that the MAS was factory set to read "X" amount of air and now that it is seeing "Y" it was acting jacked. So I unplugged the battery for 10-15 minutes and no improvement.

I would be willing to try one of those on my truck but I am a little leary now. They sell the DIY kits in that brand at Autozone as well.

ADDITION- It also made the car have this annoying drone that resembled someone burping into a soup can at full throttle. I was expecting a Honduh like sound from the 2.3 with VVT but no, I got belching. Hated that, too.

Well i put the spectre cold air intake on my truck last weekend and i have noticed a big increase in power. At the same time i also installed a throttle body spacer. The guys at work thought that i had a supercharger in my truck from the whistling. I love it and i would have to say that is worth the money and it is a good price
