Post Headlights!!

so I have 8000K headlights on my truck but to me they just don't seem bright enough but also I managed to blow out my high beams as I was making a cross country trip. Does anyone else have any brighter lights that won't take away my brights. I have replaced the high beam fuses but that wasn't the problem either. So idk whats goin on with my high beams. if anyone has any answers please help.

Check and see if the connectors are melted at the bulbs.....

So you have 8000K HID headlights? Am I understanding this correctly? If you do have HID, and you have the stock headlight housing then the HID bulb does not have two ignition points like a halogen does. "blowing out" your high beams isn't really possible unless your low beams are ALSO out... The bulb simply "moves back" into the magnet on the back of the bulb itself to change the focus point of the beam to a further distance. However, if you have the type of HID that has a halogen high beam then i suppose this is possible and I would check your connections, if those are good and nothing else is throwing up red flags I would say that you, literally, have burnt out high beam filaments. Can you tell me more about the bulbs? Manufacturer? Size (if not H13)? Does it use the stock plugs to power the bulbs... etc I just need to know more before I can be sure.

I have the DDM Tuning Apexcone Raptor V2 Mid Sized HID kit
Bulb Type: H13 Hi/Lo
Bulb Color: 8000K
Wattage: 55W

I love these lights, I won't ever go back to normal halogen bulbs.
Have them on for about a week on my truck, so far no problems, easy install.

Link to other thread where I posted my DDM problem, they replaced them twice, but never refunded me for the replacements (ON WARRANTY) because they cant find a problem. Well Here is the VIDEO evidence.

I also have DDM's... LOTS and LOTS of problems. Very little support, but they say they are working on it... I'm posting a 1080p video of the headlights within the hour, so you (and everyone) will be able to see the problem in FUL HD, instead of my cell phone camera.

Video: Click on "YouTube" Link to see it in FULL 1080p

The headlight housing hasn't broken in any way. I can swap the bulb from passenger to driver with the same result. No other variable.

I would have noticed a broken lens.

They really aren't as blue as they seem in the video, Here are videos from last night that show the issue in other ways, in HD, and how white they are.

You should try retrosolutions HID's. I have had them in my accord for over a year with no problems. Great customer service too. I have the Nightvision which is now only $77 instead of the $99 I paid.

You are getting 8K which may look "blue" but its actually giving you less light output. The stock hid's for all the luxury cars are 4300K. That is going to give you a bright white light with maybe a little tiny yellow but its the best output of light. I got the 6000K just to have a little blue hue and I wish I would of gotten 4300K now after I have seen my friends.
