I've heard good things about the Hedman headers but Gibson is good, along with many others.

I'm not sure on the hp gains. I think the Hedman headers are rated at like 10?? but I'm not sure on that.

u say that, but ya never know, it depends on the computer in the truck and the piping it has, u get long heads and then u can't ahve a catliytic converter= not street legal .. there are confounding variables to this touchy subject hahaha

Well the Roush has the 5.4 liter v8 so the headers will fit fine but are more performance related.

I would also recommend the Pacesetter headers. Those are obviously a very good brand and have been around for awhile and are used by many Ford racing teams.

There's more to increasing HP than just choosing a set of headers. Sometimes, if not done correctly, you can loose power by manipulating the exhause system.

The size of the collector, diameter of the exhause pipes and the type muffler all plays a part.

It's very difficult to expect anyone to know what the HP gain will be with only the installation of a set of headers.

I would think with the late model trucks, an experienced technican should re-tune the management system along with the correct and complete exhaust system make-over to get the best results.
