Default Hard starting

I have an 04 150 5.4 4x4 that is hard to start in the mourning,also about a month ago it stalled and would not start ,after about 20 minutes it fired up an was fine until recently.No CEL nothing I don't now where to start looking . any ideas would be appreciated.Oh yeah every once and a while there is a slight miss for a second.Thanks

battery, alternator? My truck was having hard starts in the morning, but never stalled on me. Only happened when the temps fell below freezing point, until the battery died, I replaced it and no problems now. just my 2cents

Strong battery because it cranks fast .It seems more prevalent in damp weather.I was thinking maybe the COPs?but Im just guessing.

I'd start with a fuel filter..... even if you just put one on not long ago.... could have got something in the tank..

well for starters its a ford. you dont expect it to actually start every time you want it to right?

I just changed the fuel filter about 4 months ago,but there cheep enough Ill try that tomorrow
