Default Halos on my Projector Headlight went out!

So tonight, I start my truck to head home from youth group. I noticed something a little "off"- no pun intended- with my new my projector headlights. I've had them on the truck for two days. And they worked all day. But now the bulb for the halos burnt out. So i have to wait for SPEC-D TUNING to send me new bulbs.

sorry to hear about that. can't trust all the new aftermarket companies these days. How much you pay for them? most of the time you get what you pay for.

I just had this debate with someone here last week. I hate to say it, but you're probably going to have this problem all the time. The aftermarket halos and LEDs are garbage and cheap. There's nothing you can really do about it. They'll hopefully send you some replacements but the same thing will happen. The guy I had a debate with just installed his and apparently he's blowing fuses now. If you want the halo effect, try http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/. They cater to bimmers but have a halo kit you can add to your stock headlights...might work on your stockers.

You're probably right. I paid $118. It's weird cause it's only the left. The right is just fine. When I called, they said "lately we've been having this issue."

Thanks, I'll definitely check it out. My stocks were chrome, and I really like the black on red. They even have black projector fog lights. Not too sure though haha.

Ya I hated the chrome too, got some Hella black headlight housing, never had a problem with them. You can bake yours and open them up then paint them which costs like $10 in materials. The Hellas are a little pricey but worth it.

It may sound crazy, but it works. Sem Solve is a paint prep to remove oils and dirt, VHT Nightshades is a tinting spray paint for headlights, tail lights, etc.

Ohh gotcha. Well if the projectors keep givin me crap, I might just scrap em and try baking the stocks. I have these taillights, but I want em to look like yours ha. Instead of just the housing being black.
