If you tint them as dark as mine, not very well. But you can do a lighter tint by spraying less coats. I just wanted mine to look blacked out when no lights are on. I was originally gonna get a brake light strip but the more I look at them, the more I don't like them. I want to get some aux brake lights to mount in between the tailgate and bumper. I'm thinking 3 in the middle and 1 on each side.

Those would be tight. Your reverse lights are pretty slick. But I'm horrible with wiring. Installing my own train horn kicked my butt.

Dude you could do it. When you break it down it's really simple. Plus you've got the forum to give you a hand

They're great. No problems... Yet. Haha. They're really bright and light up a lot quicker.

Yeah.. Well I'm only 17. So if I screw it up, it's not my money being spent on new ones lol. I'd be dead.

Hey, just came across this thread now. I have the spec d headlights with the black housing and chrome projectors, I too hate the chrome and was wondering How I would go about "baking" them open to paint the chrome parts black. Any directions or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

Hey. Quick question.. How'd you change the bulbs for your halos? I didn't think they were replaceable.

Memory is rusty on this one.. This was 3 years ago lol. The rings aren't legit CCFL. They're a plastic ring with an led bulb at the top and the light just carries around the ring. They sent me bulbs, and new wires. Had to pull the rings, replace and re wire.

Really? I'm taking my lens off this weekend to replace the projectors, and I couldn't find any way to change out the bulb for the halo. Thanks though.
