Okay, here's a couple things you need to try. My brother lives in Knoxville and the bad storms awhile back beat up his truck pretty bad and here's what he did with GEICO. Adjuster came to him and wrote a check for $3. They quoted a replaced aftermarket hood, new driver and passenger side mirrors, and paintless dent removal on the roof and fenders, and even the bed. Here comes the tricky part...he took to our choice of a repair shop where he had them adjust it. Now, GEICO is cutting out another $3K for OEM hood and side mirrors. Plus, they waived the deductible because it was an "Act of God." This is just our experience with a 2007 Chevy Silverado Z71 in the southeast. I wish the best of luck and hope everything goes smooth. His truck is still in the shop, they estimated 10+ days so make sure you get a rental. Again, good luck!

Thats interesting because I have GEICO but they are having me go to them and my appointment isnt until next Wednesday. I doubt they will waive the deductible since this type of cause is stated there in the comprehensive description.
Yah, Im going to research the cost OEM parts before I go because Im not going to settle for aftermarket parts cost.

As for a rental, I have my trusty old 83 Benz 300D Turbo Diesel to get me around.

Luckily for my brother we're from GA so we're not as backed up as Knox. His girlfriend's car got it worse and she has over a month to wait.
