Default Which Grille Guard?

2005 F-150 STX 4WD Red
I am considering two grille guards:

Westin 57-2015 HDX and the Go Industries Rancher 46638

Any input/experiences/opinions would be appreciated.

No personal experience with either of those brands on my part (that I know of), I have no idea what brand mine is, there are no markings on it anywhere. I guess it all comes down to what you plan to do with it. Whether you want to mount a winch or lights or nothing at all. When I got mine I decided they were too expensive to buy new so I found one on Craigslist for a steal. Good luck in the search!

I don't have either but I have the frontier that is identical to the westin, not sure what the go rhino looks like. But this frontier is a beast of a brush guard.

That looks like the Westin. Do you have any problems opening the hood? May go with it since it is heavy duty and about $200 cheaper than the Rancher.

Actually I haven't even tried opening the hood, guess I'll find out today since oil change time.

LOL, let me know how it works. I have heard of some that you had to tilt in order to open the hood on our F-150's and I don't want that for sure.

Yeah man, the Saleen grille is a tough one to get your hands on. Thankfully I picked mine up before they skyrocketed the price tag on them. I've had lots of compliments on it which is always nice
