I hit a deer a couple of days ago on my 2004 F150 and fortunately the only damage was to my grill. I found some options for replacements, but on the website I found is differentiating FX4 vs STX vs XLT vs Lariat. Does anyone know if the 2004 sub-models have different size grills?

the actual area surrounding the grill is the same from 04-08... you can swap a fx4, stx, xlt,... grill between all of them

 

Check out ebay too. There are many many many to choose from.

i generally like the mesh looking ones that seem to be getting popular (more so without the grill company's logo huge in the middle but to each their own) I saw the chrome rbp one on an 04-08 f150's with the trim piece around the grill being chrome as well... it actually made the grill look kind of cheap and weird IMO... it was like the edge of the rbp grill blended in with the chrome trim around the grill to where it seemed like it was one piece and then those little bolts looked like they were put in a weird place. I might be describing it poorly but it didn't have the tough look they usually have
