I have an 07 f150 5.4. I have an edge evo, flowmaster 40 true duals. Should I do this? I had a banks ram air intake at one time and it gave me a LOT of power just loss mpg. I have heard good and bad about the gotts mod. I also heard good n bad about the snorkel removed. Some one with this model and motor give me some advice please.

i went from about 12mpg to around 13.5 ish and theres a little bit better throttle response nothing like a ram air tho someone on here said it flows the same amount as a reg. cold air intake if you use a k&n drop or something like that and i have a k&n drop in

Ig the 22s drop the mileage down..I have 35" on 18s n get 16. With my edge evo

 

yeah they suck it down i get 15.5 16 highway its just getting them things moving lol

I get about 17-18 on I10 @ 70. 33's Gotts K&N drop in, edge on a tweaked lvl2 07 5.4 2x4, 6.5' bed and tonno, Magnaflow muffler on stock pipes. In town she holds at about 13.5 to 14. Before the tires I was 19 to 20 " 70 and 15.5 around town. Saw some low to mid 20s @ 55, but not any more all 21-22 now. It maybe picked up 1-1.5 mpg after Gotts, and better acceleration response. Between the Gotts and edge running the 33s it is back to where it was stock.
