I have the H13 Glowteck LED kit. I had to replace 2 bulbs in the 2 years that I've had them, but the new kits are a LOT better than the originals. You do not need the canbus adapter if you do the Bambi mod. It takes 5 minutes to do, look it up on YouTube. I also hear a lot of good reviews on Hikari ULTRA. Honestly, not knocking 4x4truckleds, they're just too $$$ for me. Also, Glowrteck's customer service is A++.

I contacted Glowteck and asked if I needed adapters. They said I may need a set of resistor cables, so they're sending me a set.

650,
Other than the Bambi mod, did you have to install anything else for the headlights to work properly? I'm wondering why Glowteck support says I need resistors. Do you think the resistors correct the same issue the bambi mod addresses?
I googled '2008 F150 LED headlight resistors' and read a bunch of links. I don't see any real evidence where 04-08 owners run resistors or canbus adapters. Maybe it's because the bambi mod solves the only real issue with LEDs in that year group?

Hey all, I just wanted to put my two cents in for the BeamTech LEDs . Bought two off Amazon for 40 bucks. . plugs right in with no mods and works Much brighter and as best i can tell, while they are bright I don't have anyone flashing their headlights at me so it doesn't seem they are over bright or aimed wrong.

Cheap cheap solution for me.

Oh these went into a completely stock 2006 F150 King Ranch 4WD

Nice. I put the fogs in too. Might explain why I had to get an adapter

My LED bulbs have the cutoff shrouds. How do you orient them in the housing? Like a clock position? They came with an Allen key to adjust them.

Glowteck headlights and Alla fogs are in. Bambi mod and no resistors needed. Pretty pleased with the results so far.
