You can get the 6 disk without the audiophile. The sub is a part of the audiophile package, and the head unit will not sound correct without the sub since the doors are high passed.

Iv found some on craigslist, but im going to try to get one from a dealer first before I go to the private market. My mom works at a Ford dealer down here in South Texas. She has some sales guys looking for one. If I get it from her place I get the truck at cost, and will also have a warranty with it. They go to dealer auctions a lot and usually get everything cheap and mark it up for us commoners. Hopefully when its all said and done ill get everything for around 12.5k.

I got approved for a 14k loan(thats all I want to spend) so the rest of the money will go into a sound system and get rolled back into the loan. Im in no rush to get one, I want to make sure I get exactly what I want so I dont have buyers remorse.

 

when i picked up my first new edge i knew nothing about them. it wasnt very long before i was wanting the black leather and 5 speed.

the truck is real nice i was pretty close to buying it yesterday but decided i didnt want to owe upwards of 10k on a truck when i only owe 3500 on mine.

 

Im really eyeballing a red FX4 at this one dealership. I might see if my moms place will buy it from them at wholesale.
