I have a 2007 F150 FX2. Has anyone ever tried putting bigger tires then the stock ones without lifting it? Do any changes need to be made to avoid problems without lifting it or does it need to be lifted to not damage it?

 

If you leveled it,you could get away with 33's.Now do you want to put like a 6inch lift on it?

 

eventually I want to raise it later down the road but I need new tires now and wanted to go bigger but wasnt sure if just that would hurt the transmission or anything

 

What gears do you have in the truck?Is yours the 4.6 or the 5.4?Need to know this stuff

FX2 only comes with the 5.4. for gears i would guess 3.73

i need proof of that one, the FX trucks only came with the 5.4

 

Ok so were not wrong.I was doing some online looking around and never found anything to indicate that the FX2's came with a 4.6.

So i second the thot of needing proof.
