the highest trim you could get a 4.6 with is the XLT....

Not so much as lifting it higher but the tires that come with it are so tiny in the wheel well and when i went to get bigger ones the guy told me it would mess up my tranny just trying to find out if that is true

Well since you got the 5.4 and i am assuming there 373 gears. You wont mess up your tranny.Get a leveling kit and go for 33,or 35's.Your engine and gears can handle them just fine.

Zero FX2-And why not lift it?,Nothing wrong with lifting 2wd trucks. Some can look killer.Look at sick150's lifted 2wd truck.Freaking sick *** truck man.I say if at some point he wants to lift,go for it man.You will always get ppl that will question on why lifting a 2wd truck.Go for it if you want to at some point.Let us know what you go with man.

Why lift a 67 stang.I have seen it done in savanna Ill and looks great.

what is your stock tire size? i would just go up a size or two and call it a day. and for the fx2 i would prob drop it more then more raise it.

I want to do 285 on my stock rime I have 265 on there now. SO if I just go to 285's should I get a leveling kit? Or just roll with it. I will post pics what ever I do.

In my opinion just go with a leveling kit and the 285 size. Will look allot better leveled out i think.Might as well spend the extra $70.00 for the leveling kit since your dropping all the money for the tires.Again tho, this is just my opinion

IMO a lowered FX2 with the right wheels and wide tires have a wonderful stance and look bad ***. i mean do you plan on driving off road or anything? and 285 what? thats the width in milimeters. look at darthbama truck. its a 97-03 bosy style but it looks awesome IMO
