Default Front Bumper Replacement

I currently have a fog light-less, plasti-dipped stock bumper on my '04 that I would like to replace with a PTMed '06+ replacement bumper with the round fog light holes. After searching around for a while, I pulled up a bunch of products that say "Face Bar". Since I have all the brackets and everything on my current bumper, can I just get the "Face Bar" or do I need to buy an entirely new bumper? Here's what I mean by Face Bar: http://http://www.getallparts.com/Ford-F150-2006_p-12500-aftermarket-front-paint-to-match-primered-bumper-face-bar-fo1002401v.aspx?variantid=92519&ref=g-pla&ref=g-pla&gclid=CjwKEAiAo7C2BRDgqODGq5r38DsSJAAv7dTPuEmw m-vVkkSH4peQzKSaiP82k4WDRz2KrUC-syfkBBoCb9Hw_wcB

doing a quick google search, it looks as though it can be done AT A COST but its not a simple interchange.

I know napa sells the light mounts that go behind the bumper. You would need a new headlight switch with a fog light light option and most likely have to wire it up.

I believe the 06-08 front bumper has different mounting brackets than the 04/05.. but, im sure you can make it work

You can make anything work. It's all about how bad you want it.

I think the problem is the brackets are different between 2004-2006 and 2007-2008 but the brackets themselves can be swapped between each bumper. I have an 08 but I'd rather have the square holes because you can fit 2 cubes in there.

That's a good point. I originally wanted to get an N-Fab bumper with two light bars and four pods but I decided I like the look of a brush guard better. Then I could get the brush guard and still fit the four pods.
