Default Fire!

So i wake up this morning and head into town to grab some coffee and breakfast and about 5 minutes into my trip smoke starts coming out from under my hood. So i pull over and pop the hood and i stand there and look and to my amazement the top half of my engine is on fire! melted the intake, and throttle body, along with numerous other things. I think this is the finally for my truck. After a long long long list of problems and money down the drain i think my FX4 has seen its final days. its sad in a way (the fact ford made such a ****ty product or maybe my truck was just cursed) ohh well i have the insurance people coming to look at it today @ 3:45, so hopefully they can cut me a check and ill be signing the papers for my new TITAN tomorrow!

That sucks man!! Do you know where it started? Mine caught on fire a while back too, a the sensor on top of the master brake cylinder shorted and sparked. I caught it in time, but when I opened the hood there was a three foot flame coming off the reservior!!!!

Im sure Titan's have there issues too. No truck is perfect. If they were than service techs would be bored and broke

Default My 2000 F150 Caught On Fire Today

Does anyone know what Ford will do when your truck catches on fire? My did today.

I swear, just yesterday I was looking at it from my kitchen window, thinking to myself: wow, that's such a nice looking truck.

Check out this pic.

Do you think Ford make the repairs?
