I have a 2007 XLT 5.4L 4x4, with column shift. Tan Interior, with jumpseat. I would like to replace the jumpseat with a console, and leave the shifter on the column. What console did you or anyone else reading this use?

Not trying to hijack thread, its a really awesome build, i just like my column shifter.

I would also like to put in a new console but leave the column shifter. I was thinking about just doing all custom - but if someone has a drop in console that would be awesome.

That looks great, it is giving me the bug to convert my truck over. I really wanted the console shifter, but got too good of a deal to pass on.

When I was looking to buy a truck I wanted the center console so bad! Just like you, I found a great deal and decided the column shifter was not a deal breaker and I have used the middle seat a couple of times when I have my truck full of passengers. Seeing this now is proof I can have it looking how I want it! I need more experience though. I am still scared on installing tweeters and a component system to my truck by myself haha I need to get more experience so I can gain the confidence to do jobs on my own. Thank you for the idea!
