I expect to put just slightly over $400 in, and get about $200-$250 back from my jump seat.

How hard is it to put the shifter and everything in it? I'm assuming its functional. I really wish my truck had the center console shifter, but it doesn't. Also are you taking out the original shifter?

I completed the swap in December. Swapped dashboard added the new shifter cable and drilled into my HVAC for the speed controller module for automatic controls and everything works fine. Last thing I have to do is replace my steering wheel for a black one and get new covers without the column shifter. Good luck man everything for me was plug and play minus the cutting of my box.

I am very interested in this! I have always thought it would be harder than you guys are making it seem. I have always wanted the center console shifter in my truck. Hopefully I will be able to make it work some time in the future!

Ya if you want to do the complete swap you can swap the whole dash out if you want, I just decided to build myself a little connection piece. You basically have 3 things to do. Mount the console, run the shift cable, run the wires. Some people are lucky enough to have the unused connector in their dash to make the wiring easier, unfortunately I was not one of them. I'll be doing the rest of this swap probably Saturday so I'll take lots of pics so you can see what all is involved.
