Falling Apart
I have a 2006 xlt scab with 65k miles on it, and lately I have noticed that my baby seems like its falling apart. My truck is like my wife. Moody one minute and a sweet hart the next. I can drive to the store, truck runs like a champ, leave the store and its running like sh*t. I got a full tune and spark plugs changed a month ago, cuz it was like that. Also it seems like everything is starting to rattel. My passenger side windo rattles when its down. I hear someting rattleing underneath when the road gets rough. Things squeak underneath too. Cant really figure out what rattles and squeaks. When im not moving I cant jump in the bed, shake the truck and I dont hear anything. But when im driving I cant hear it, and it drives me nuts. Does anyone feel like their truck is falling apart like mine? Any
suggestions? Ideas? and how do I fix it?

place your hands on the fender above the front tire and push the front end side to side. not so hard you dent it but do get it rocking pretty good. if you hear a clunk-like sound as it is rocking, change your sway bar links to fix the clunking on rough roads... i just this past weekend did mine and found that one side had actually separated and i had no idea other then a little clunk when i hit some road cracks or rough road. the sway bar links will sound like a rattle when your going down the road.
let us know if you find it.

I still have had no luck on figuring whats rattling around. Its coming from the rear end. I couldn't find anything that was broken. So today I'm going to check if everything is tight. Would have done that yesterday but I have no tools.
The jack under the rear seat in mine squeeks something awful, everyday i say i'm going to take it out and put it in the toolbox but I always forget. The back sliding window rattles in mine sometime too. There's other little creaks and squeeks sometimes but I've yet to have a truck that didn't have those noises after a while.

My #1 issue is that POS plactic tailgate cap! Until April it would occasionally pop off but nothing serious, but now it won't even go back on snug. The driver side sits uneven all the time and I have a small piece of camo duct tape keep it down. I'm afraid on the highway it may fly off. I did notice that others with the same issue had the OEM bed liner, so i'm wondering if the plastic part on the tailgate won't let fit fully snug...am I making sense here or everyone confused?! See pic and description below...
I have the same issue with the tailgate cap. I did see one in LMC truck. I'm going to order it next month when I get my allowance from my wife. I didn't see the bed caps though. Mine are all failed and look like poop so does my windshield crow. Anyone know where I can get new bed caps and windshield crow?
