Default factory Sub issue

Hey all, I purchased a factory sub for my 05, plugged it into the wires under the carpet out back, purchased the sub HU connector and wired the 4 wires down to the proper pins in the harness in drivers kick panel but am getting nothing from the sub.. any suggestions?

I was wondering the same thing but I'm not super familiar with the factory sub/amp so I didn't say it haha.

I've attached a picture, it shows there's an amp that's supposed to be attached to the sub box? I've attached a few diagrams off of a 2006, maybe they'll help?

I also wonder if the headunit isn't activating it (even though the connector is there). I would check pins 1 and 2 for 12V at the sub connector and 2 & 3 for 12 V.

Yeah the amp is a little gray/silver one. Do you have the factory head unit or is it an after market one?

I have wired my factory amp to my aftermarket HU and it works well. I just built a box last week end and will be installing it this weekend. I have 2 factory amps that I will be connecting to 2 subs (1 per sub) under the rear seat. Took me about an hour to figure out the wiring but it does work with an aftermarket HU. I posted the wire connections on a different thread a few weeks ago but will repost this weekend if you need them.

Chip102, it makes sense... you wouldn't have been able to plug everything in hahaha. You'll definitely have to use the multimeter to check things. Hopefully the diagrams I've provided help tell you what to check. Hard to say where the disconnect is at this point...

What makes sense? I have a audiophile head unit, an audiophile sub and amp, the wiring from the cabin harness to the sub and have added the wiring and connector from the HU to the cabin harness. I have also confirmed all the proper fuses are in place. What could i have missed?
