Has anybudy put nitrous on the 04+ 5.4L f150s'? just wondering what kit your guys are running, whats a safe shot?

 

You will be safe with a 50 shot if you have the truck tuned too. DO NOT try to just throw a kit on there and hit it. IT needs to be tuned for nitrous.

 

The motors are that weak? I have to get it tuned for a baby shot like that?>

 

No the computers are that sensitive. You don't want it to run lean. And running rich will not produce power. you can proly do an 80 shot with a good tune without a problem. I just feel any more than that and the stock pump won't be able to keep up.

 

Ahhh gotcha. Gonna have to bring it to a dyno i guess.

 

how long does a bottle of nitrous last?

 

depends on how often you push the little red button

depends on the size of the shot as well. a 75 shot will drain a bottle faster then a 25 shot

 

In my civic a 75 shot was good for 8 1/4mile runs before i started losing power.
