Default Extra remote entry and spare key

Hello. I just bought a 2004 F150 XLT regular cab 4x4. So far, so great! But it only came with 1 key and 1 key fob (remote). Other than a Ford dealer, what's the best way to acquire these items? Thanks!

My local hardware store had the tool to cut me a chip key for my truck. I saw one at lowes also. Cost me about 60 bucks.

Yeah I used Amazon for the key and ebay for the fobs. But I recommend the dealer to cut and program them honestly depending on your locals. I called around and people were quoting me $98+ dollars to program it ALONE! Until I finally called my dealer and they quoted me $80 to cut and program up to 5 keys!!! All that for $80! Sometimes they can be your friend

Walmart made my spare key (w/ chip) for 59 bucks. I went with Keyless2Go fobs. They seem to have a better gasket in them that helps keep debris out. Programming it yourself takes literally 10 seconds.

Thanks everyone. I got a fob on Amazon (cheap) and the programming was simple. A local locksmith cut and programmed me a key for $65.
