Default New owner, unknown dash item



I don't have the electronic shift 4WD system in my 2004 XLT 4x4 so can someone please tell me what this is or what it does?? Thanks

Holds that pesky, loose pocket change. Also coin holder in your console if you have front bucket seats.

As previously said it's just a coin holder.
Not familiar with how it's done but I've seen some people turn it into an extra 12v/usb spot.

Some have also removed it and installed aftermarket gauges such as oil pressure which is important if you have a 5.4

LOL as stated find something else that will benefit you and fit in that spot and make the "change" that thing is useless as a change holder.

Your 2004 has a passenger airbag shut off key switch?! I see it lower right under the cig lighter.

I'm not sure it's a KEY switch but it is there. I'll have to check tomorrow.
