Default Engine Rev Shifting into OD.

Hey All,
Driving at about 30 mph with steady foot on gas going down a slight decline my truck will rev and then shift into OD. Almost feels like a slip, but, im not under hard power. Just had tranny flushed still have this issue. Has anyone had this problem and was able to pinpoint issue? Thank you.

Curious about this as well. My 08 5.4 does the same thing. Doesn't happen alot, but it's still there. RPM increases for about a 1/2 a second before the gear catches. Otherwise, tranny performs flawlessly.

Mine's an 08 with 70K on it. I'm the 2nd owner. The previous owner had most maintenance performed at a local Ford dealer here. Do you think there would be a record of the reflash in the system? Do you remember the TSB number? Does 8-14-3 sound right?

From TSB 8-14-3: "Some 2007-2008 F-150 and Mark LT vehicles built between 12/4/2006 to 5/20/2008 and equipped with a 5.4L 3V and 4R75E, may exhibit an engine RPM flare during light acceleration during the 3-4 upshift. This would only occur at road speed ranges from
25-30 MPH (40-48 Km/h). No DTCs or other drivability or transmission issues would be present."
This is my exact issue.
