Engine light
Idle air control valve controls your rpms at idle. Sounds like yours is bad and causing your rpms to drop too much at idle. IAC is attached to throttle body. I think I read somewhere that in our trucks the entire throttle body has to be replaced but research first cause I'm not 100% on that.
Well I just installed an SCT tuner and it didn't happen until then. Nothing seems wrong with the truck, as a matter of fact it sounds better. Before the tuner I would hear the PS pump whining. The tuner allows me to adjust my idle rpm. Maybe I should try that?

Hmm, I have 133k miles in it, the first 100k were on dirt and gravel roads daily. I'll probably just take it and get it checked out. Do you think a throttle body spacer would do any good after I fixed the problem?
