Default Edge programmer issues

Bought a Gryphon Edge programmer and it gives me the F1 error after running through the set up. I tried several times to go through the fix, no success. When I try to update through the Fusion it does not recognize the tuner. I've switched cords and pcs with same result. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Best bet would be to contact PHP and see if they have a fix.

You can't use fusion on a gryphon. You have to go to PHP's website and download Pegasus. When mine throws the f1 code I just unplug it at the obd II port and plug it back in. I would download Pegasus and restore it then try it on your truck.

He can try and update the tuner through Fusion, it should return in back to Edge stock tunes. I had assumed he had tried that. If that didn't work, then yes, you are correct. He should go to PHP and download Pegasus and update. Good catch

Last stupid question I promise. Do I need to return to stock before changing throttle tire size etc? I picked program 1, but forgot to make other changes before saving. Thanks

I would load up program #2 (tow setting). Then go and order a custom tune from PHP

I changed tire size a month after I installed the level 2 (tow tune). I returned it to stock, then uploaded the level 2 tune with the tire size changes.
