What happens if you download the software available and hook up the tuner?

Mine did the same thing when I first tried it. I had the Gryphon (sp) software and it then let me add the tunes.

I guess I'm never returning mine to stock again. I don't want to end up with a brick.

im now wondering if in one of their “updates” if they limited or prevented future marrying to new vehicles. Regardless of if it was unmarried from prior vehicle or not. If anyone knows please post.

EEF2400 is the old part number and 15051 is the new ... made in 06... i've had mine 20 years and it's p/n 15051.

If you really can't update it maybe you could sell it or trade it to someone with a pre 2006 truck and then buy one for a 2008 model
