Default Edge Programmer Causing Trouble

When I set my programmer to level 1 or 2, it causes my truck to get vibrations when I press the accelerator. Also, when I press the gas pedal, my RPMs drop significantly and then spike up. When I return my program to stock everything is fine. What should I do? Contact Edge or what?

Have you updated it yet to the latest firmware? Don't even bother contacting edge if you haven't cuz they will ask you to update it first so I say see what happens after you update it and if that doesn't resolve it then call them up.

Just for a little more background info: What engine do you have? Were you running custom parameters or just canned tune? And where do you feel these vibrations? In the pedal or in your seat or body of vehicle?

I already updated it 3 days ago. And I have the 5.4L, running canned tune, feel the vibrations in the body of the vehicle.

No I haven't tried level 3 yet because I didn't fill up with premium last time. I'll try it the next time I fill up.

You can run level 3 for a few to determine if it's doing the same thing...it's not going to hurt it.

Oh ok. Well then I'll try it later today. When I put it on level 1 or 2, it doesn't do it right away, I have to drive it for about 2-3 miles. Idk if that's relevant or not, just thought I'd throw that in there. Lol

When you run it on 3 just don't get on it hard cuz your timing will be way to advanced.

Call Edge if you bought it new. You paid enough for it. Make them do a little work for you, the customer.
