I just got a edge evolution and heard from multiple people to look into getting it upgraded to a gryphon. Has anyone done this? Any big changes? (Power, torque, fuel, etc) is it worth it? And if so does anyone know do I have to send it in or can I just get the $60 for the calibrations?
I just got mine done last month. The guys above are incorrect. If you go to their website it will explain everything. If you have an edge, you download their software to your PC (it's called Pegasus) and you then update your edge to a gryphon (you will know it worked when a gryphon appears when you start your truck). After its updated, you fill out an order form from their website with all your trucks information and may choose up to three custom tunes. They will email you when they are complete and all you have to do is update the programmer from their software. They no longer require the programmer to be sent to them. I am very pleased with my tunes, I drive 87 performance setting and get over 16mpg now with my 5.4
