Nah you can change a bunch of things at once. Then you can start the truck after it finishes writing. I know for tire size changes it is recommended to change the size in increments so to not freak out the ECU. Gradually go up in change. Like my tire size is 2800mm but when i do a custom edge tune, it starts at 2400 something so I go to 2600 and then start the truck and then another custom tune and do 2800mm.

I've never heard that you need to gradually go up in tire size. I always just adjust to my tire size and go. No problems.

Yeah it says to do so in the manual. I doubt its critical, (as you do it and no problems have occurred.) I think it is just Edge covering their butts just in case....

I've never heard the tire investment thing either but it makes sense to cover themselves. I know you shouldn't tune your truck when it's cold especially in the winter if you are changing the tune drive around a little to warm up the PCM before you tune it.

I do remember reading, use the formulas in the Manuel to get your size close, then make small adjustments till your speedo matches a gps. Mine calculated at 2646 but is dead on gps at 2604.

The guy at the dealership were I got my truck, who recommended the edge, said the small changes were not so much for the PCM, but for the purpose of not adjusting something to much, like timing. Pushing that to far will damage a vehicle.
