Default Edge Evo Programmer Question!

Hey guys is there any disadvantage to buying a used edge programmer? Will it run the exact same as if you bought it new?
Thanks Guys

Aslong as the seller uses it to return his truck to stock before removing it... you are getting the exact same thing as you would be buying new.....

However, if he doesn't return his truck to stock.... it locks the programmer and it has to be sent in to edge to be unlocked...... I think it's like 50 bucks but I'm not sure...

Harp on them before you buy it. Make sure they return their truck to stock and even have them send you a picture of the unit with the 0 level in the corner. Then when you get it, plug it in and make sure it has a 0 in the upper right corner. That's about the only way to make sure it's set back to stock.

this ^^^ and no, as long as its unlocked and the tuner works there is no disadvantage to buying used. i got mine used for less than half the price of a new one.

Once you get it though, I'd go ahead and update it to make sure its current.
