Hey guys I finally found and evo programmer for a decent price last week and ever since install i have yet to recieve or see any of these "miracle results" one i dont feel it improving much of anything and the biggest reason i have it (MPG's) hasnt gone up at all according to the readings and possibly could have gone down? Whats going on can anyone enlighten me?

 

You are very vague in your post. What level do you have it tuned to also what octane fuel or what. I put one on my 08 5.4 screw fx4 with 35's and it made a world of difference

 

X2 big change ...level 3 and twik it some...changed up some shift points and firmness bumped the idle a tad...I do have a CAI and Exhaust though...

 

I'm running mine on level two raised shift points and shift firmness to 10 on all three shifts. Reset tire size for the 35's and I'm getting way more power and average 14mpg so I'm very happy

 

Yea my Edge woke up my transmission for sure. My screen went blank on mine once and i bought it off craigslist so i had no receipt but Edge customer service was awesome and they fixed it for free, upgraded the firmware, and got me a new case, it was basically a brand new evo for free. Then I sent it to PHP and it really woke up my 5.4

 

Sorry guys I've been busy but I'm running on level 1 with 33's and I'm averaging around 13 mpg which is below what I was before it. What soul you recommend the shift points and etc be at??

 

I'm pretty sure level one is transmission only so I'm not sure why it would be worse ampg also I don't completely rely on the edge reading I always double check. I would try level 2 and raise the shift points as much as you can I think 1-2 is only 10 mph and the others are less also raise the shift firmness just a Lil I had raised mine a lot and couldn't really tell a difference so I lowered it back to 10 for all shifts. Do you have the correct gear ratio and tire size programed in

 

install level 3 and customize...

 

i know i have the right tire size just did that but as for the gear ratio idk what mine is

 

in extreme mode it doesnt eat all the gas up? cause it sure aint cheap getting the 93 octane
