Default Edge Evo programmer level 1 and 2?

I have been running level 2 but I am currious what the advantages are of running 1 or 2? What is recommended by some of yall who have used them for a while and what if any are the disadvantages?

I am looking for more throttle response and better MPG (obviously you wont get better MPG if your driving with a heavy foot but under normal driving conditions which is going to give me better MPG?)

Thanks guys

Run lv 2. Lv 1 doesnt change any engine specific parameters, and thus will not really help a whole lot. Just use lv 2 with low shift points and don't drive with a lead foot. No programmer/chip/mod/tune will ever alter the MPG you get as much as your driving style. Slow stops, slow starts, gradual increase of speed, coast down hills, and no WOT if you dont have to... thats the key and the single biggest contributor to your mpg.

as far as i know, level 1 only changes tranny options, engine and power output are stock. Personally for everyday use, i'd run 2 or 3 and just bump it up once and a while to have fun.

Just remember you gotta have some 93 octane to be running level 3. Don't be a Edge Evo horror story because you were in level 3 with 87 octane racing around town.

Level 1 changes shift points and shift firmness to be more fuel efficient; no HP gains

Level 2 Will do what lvl 1 does + HP Gains.

Personally I consider level 2 the "Economy" mode because when I put my larger tires on I wanted it to drive like it did stock and the Level 2 gave it enough power to feel like it did when I had smaller tires.

I run level 2, I didn't notice a difference with level 1, and we don't have 93 for level 3..

When I switched to level 3, it stated that it only requires 91 octane OR better. Level 2 has higher shifting points for towing, level 3 is nicer for everyday driving and has the highest performance.
